Staffing every approved hour of home care
Tendora is a reverse marketplace for pediatric private duty and home nursing. Nurses keep their availability current; agencies search, shortlist and send a case brief. Agencies subscribe. Nurses are always free.
Thesis
The care is approved. The nurse is missing.
Illinois home care approved for medically complex children vs. actually used, Sep 2022 to Sep 2023 (CBS News Chicago).
Recruiting tools don't fit the job
Job boards wait for applicants. Private duty is staffed one patient, one home and one schedule at a time.
Tendora flips the search
Agencies search nurses who already cover the case's hours, area, license and skills, then send a case brief to a capped shortlist.
Business model
Software margins once a metro is liquid
Plans run $199, $399 and $799 a month, priced by how many nurses each case can reach. No placement fees.
Illustrative arithmetic from planning assumptions, not a forecast. Churn is the key unknown, and the pilot measures it from the first paid month.

Meet the founder
Meshack Ogagaoghene Ubara is the founder of Tendora Health. As administrator at Glam Healthcare, a home care agency in the Chicago area, he has seen first-hand how hard it is to staff medically complex children’s cases, and how much approved care goes undelivered as a result. He started Tendora to help agencies find available, qualified nurses in hours, not weeks.
